•$88,000 - $97,000•Onsite

About The Position

Piping Technology & Products, Inc. is hiring two Sales Engineers to deliver technical presentations about its pipe support product lines. The role explains product capabilities and customer-specific applications to client engineers, procurement teams, plant operations personnel, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners. Sales Engineers work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Estimating to support technical discussions and sales opportunities. A structured six-month training and mentorship plan prepares each hire to lead client presentations independently. The position is based on-site in Houston, Texas, with a Monday–Friday schedule and additional hours as required for travel and client meetings. After training, the role involves approximately 30–50% domestic and international travel, including customer visits, industry events, and plant walk-downs as needed. Employees must follow company and customer safety requirements. The six-month development plan includes company, product, safety, and travel-policy orientation; product and applications training; review of piping engineering fundamentals; observation and preparation of presentations; co-presenting; domestic travel with senior team members; and an initial paired international trip. Employees may advance early when ready. Success measures include leading at least three client presentations within six months, completing a paired trip without major technical corrections, passing a final technical Q&A review, and receiving Sales leadership approval for independent client engagement.
