About The Position

D&W Diesel, Inc. is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to identify and develop new business opportunities while supporting existing customer relationships. This role combines direct sales responsibility with engineering and technical support to deliver customized system and package solutions that meet customer performance, safety and profitability expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline
  • 2-5 years of successful sales or business development experience
  • 10+ years’ experience as a mechanical/technical engineer
  • Strong technical aptitude and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Professional selling expertise
  • Must be willing to travel 25% - 30% with some overnights

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of dry and liquid bulk systems and tanker on/offloading is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as technical approval advisor for product applications, installation, testing and maintenance
  • Review and advise on TTE package drawing designs by engineering team
  • Assist with SOP’s for all production units prior to builds
  • Prospect and develop new customer accounts
  • Manage assigned accounts for long-term growth and retention
  • Deliver customer presentations and secure product commitments
  • Resolve disputes and warranty issues efficiently
  • Attend trade shows representing our products and services
