About The Position

ACCRETECH SBS, Inc., is a world leader in automatic balancing and process control solutions for grinding machines. The company designs, manufactures, and markets the SBS system: a simple and reliable solution for in-process dynamic balancing of precision grinding machines. The Sales Engineer (Northeast Territory) is responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong customer relationships throughout the Northeast Territory of the United States. Serving as a key technical resource throughout the sales process, this position partners with existing and prospective customers to understand their needs, present technical solutions, and communicate the value and capabilities of ACCRETECH SBS products and services.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills with a proven ability to explain technical products to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to apply engineering, technology, or other related principles to product sales.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, possess good organizational and follow-up skills, be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • Engineering or manufacturing background required.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable working in a metric-driven environment, including reporting on and improving business performance against a set of quarterly KPIs and metrics.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and prospective customers throughout the Northeast Territory of the United States.
  • Consult with existing and potential clients to assess and understand equipment needs and system requirements.
  • Draft or assist with the drafting of presentations and other documentation and materials that explain products and services to customers.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the sales department in communicating product capabilities and customer needs.
  • Maintain consistent engagement with prospects throughout the sales process while managing multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Ensure that customer needs are met, which may include coordinating or recommending product modifications.
  • Propose improved materials, products, or solutions to customers and explain the benefits of proposed changes.
  • Provide support to customers and assist in resolving problems with installed equipment.
  • Prepare product orders and coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Assist with research and development of new products.
  • Regularly travel throughout the Northeast Territory to visit existing and prospective customers and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
