About The Position

We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to help grow sales of precision measuring equipment (such as CMMs, vision systems, and precision hand tools like calipers and micrometers) within an assigned region. In this role, you will work closely with distributors and customers, helping them understand our products, identifying the right solutions, and supporting them throughout the sales process and beyond. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role that combines technical expertise with sales and relationship management.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude (engineering, manufacturing, or industrial background preferred)
  • Experience in sales, applications engineering, or technical support
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, customer-friendly way
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organization skills
  • Comfortable working independently and traveling
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, manufacturing, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Build and grow relationships with distributors and customers in your assigned region
  • Promote and sell precision measurement equipment and metrology solutions
  • Conduct sales visits, product demonstrations, and training sessions
  • Partner with distributors on sales strategies, product knowledge, and account development
  • Support customers by evaluating applications and recommending the right measurement solutions
  • Assist with quotes and ensure solutions meet customer needs
  • Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and market trends
  • Participate in trade shows, customer demos, and sales meetings
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline updates in CRM
  • Share customer feedback and market insights with internal teams
