About The Position

The Equipment Sales Specialist works closely with O'Reilly/Ozark sales representatives and store team members in the expansion of professional tool & equipment sales. Works primarily in Tool & Equipment call center. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Provide contact center support to O'Reilly team members with prompt, courteous, and professional phone service. Maintain and communicate through tool & equipment e-mail box, zipline, etc. Supports team members and TSMs with equipment sales, shipping, warranty, repairs, leasing, and closing of equipment sales with phone and e-mail communication. Provide training to team members and TSMs with professional equipment sales call techniques/features and benefits. Prepare purchase orders for tool and equipment items not stocked in our DCs. Update, track, follow-up, and log, according to department procedures. Ensure equipment site surveys are received from the field and are accurate. Promote lease offering program for equipment sales to field team members and O'Reilly stores. Responsible for completing all assigned daily training to maximize field skills to support Professional Customer growth, remain compliant with company policies and procedures, and minimize accidents and related expenses.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Excellent customer service, phone, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and 10-key (Microsoft Excel and Word, email, etc.)
  • Ability to work well on a team and independently
  • 1 - 2 years automotive or equipment sales experience

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred)
