About The Position

The ideal candidate for this Sales Engineer role, offered as a Full Time Regular position, will be responsible for actively promoting and selling high-value, integrated, bundled, and stand-alone systems and/or equipment, along with other related advanced technology solutions within the Company's product portfolio. This individual will engage closely with contractors, consultants, and customers to understand their technical requirements, provide tailored solutions, and drive business growth by effectively communicating the value and benefits of the products. The role demands a strong technical background combined with excellent sales acumen to build and maintain long-term relationships, support project implementation, and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in business, engineering and/or other applicable technology space required.
  • 5+ years of related work experience required.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of applicable building codes and plan and spec fundamentals is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence is essential.
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills required.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible in a changing environment.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
  • Must be able to deal with a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Be highly motivated and an independent thinker.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience selling to the Electrical and/or Mechanical industry.
  • Knowledge of HVAC/Electrical systems, Protective Systems, A/V solutions, and systems integration is preferred.
  • Strong Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and SalesForce CRM is preferred.
