About The Position

Innomotics is an industry-leading supplier of motors and large drive systems with over 150 years of engineering expertise. We are seeking an OEM Sales Engineer - IEC LV Motors WEST to join our team. This role is responsible for developing assigned key Industrial OEMs, supporting growth, and meeting/exceeding revenue and profit targets for the IEC Low Voltage Motor Business in the assigned area. The position involves building and implementing a comprehensive growth plan, demonstrating existing business relationships, and fostering new partnerships. It also requires working with various teams to define product development requirements with customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or Mechatronics preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or related field of electric motor products.
  • Goal-oriented, organized teammate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and writing.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and handle time efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, ability to thrive with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
  • Experienced at preparing and presenting quarterly goals and forecasts for future projects.
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge.
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) & CRM tools.
  • 75% ability to travel to see clients, explore new markets and attend conventions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop assigned key Industrial OEMs, supporting the growth and meeting/exceeding the revenue and profit targets for the IEC Low Voltage Motor Business in your area.
  • Build and implement a comprehensive growth plan to demonstrate existing business relationships and new partnerships.
  • Work with various teams to define requirements for product development with customers.
  • Develop, plan, and lead all aspects of growth initiatives to achieve market share growth and market diversification in all product lines for the Innomotics IEC Low Voltage Motors business.
  • Perform market research and industry trends to identify new business, fields/opportunities, and customer needs, and establish strategies and growth programs.
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching the industry, analyzing changing markets and the competitive landscape, and collaborating with portfolio management teams to plan and implement strategies to meet future market needs.
  • Support new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating project proposals, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships with clients/customers.
  • Provide technical training support to customers.
  • Develop ways to improve the customer experience and build brand loyalty.
  • Attend and present at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
