About The Position

At PepsiCo Canada, the Field (District) Sales Leader will lead a team of sales representatives to meet or exceed all sales objectives. This role involves staff management, coaching, training, and motivating a team to improve selling techniques, service, and route operations. The leader will be responsible for promotional forecast accuracy and planning, growing the business by expanding distribution in new and existing accounts, and implementing sales, marketing, merchandising, and personnel programs through effective communication with Route Sales Representatives. Additionally, they will conduct business reviews with key decision makers, maintain business control requirements including inventory and sales reporting accuracy, and travel regularly (80% local, 20% overnight) to ensure consistent leadership and sales standards within the District and to attend regional meetings.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years sales experience with a consumer packaged goods or retail organization
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a people leadership role with demonstrated ability to coach others
  • Outstanding organizational skills as demonstrated by your ability to handle multiple priorities, problem solve complex or difficult situations and meet deadlines or targets

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Commerce, or similar is an asset
  • Knowledge of a Direct Store Delivery system preferred
