About The Position

Fiserv is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Director to lead our team of outside sales specialists in driving new logo growth through relentless prospecting and disciplined pipeline execution. This role is built for a true hunter who thrives on opening doors, creating net-new opportunities, and coaching a team to consistently build, progress, and convert a high-velocity pipeline to exceed revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of successful SMB B2B sales and sales leadership experience with a consistent track record of new logo acquisition (hunter profile) and team performance in outbound prospecting.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and improve a high-velocity pipeline: qualification, stage progression, deal strategy, CRM hygiene, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Passion for developing talent through structured coaching, clear expectations, and performance management—celebrating wins while driving continuous improvement.

  • Experience in SaaS or software sales is highly desirable, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of eight to twelve high-performing, full-cycle sales specialists focused on hunting and winning new SMB accounts for Clover solutions.
  • Set and drive a clear new-business operating cadence (daily activity targets, weekly pipeline generation goals, and monthly bookings) with accountability to results.
  • Build a team culture of proactive outbound prospecting (cold calling, door-opening, social selling, and email outreach) that continuously feeds a healthy top-of-funnel.
  • Own pipeline management standards: stage definitions, next-step rigor, aging/clean-up, close plan quality, and consistent Salesforce hygiene (and platforms like BentoBox) to ensure a trustworthy, actionable pipeline.
  • Coach and develop direct reports through ride-alongs, call reviews, and regular deal/pipeline inspections—improving conversion at each stage from connect to implementation.
  • Deliver accurate weekly forecasting and reporting, including pipeline coverage, stage-by-stage conversion, lead sources, activity levels, and key risks/next actions.
  • Drive a high-volume outbound motion from territory targeting and list building through discovery, proposal, negotiation, and close—ensuring consistent pipeline creation and progression.
  • Establish a trusted-advisor approach that wins new business and sets the foundation for long-term client relationships and expansion opportunities.
