About The Position

The Sales Director at our Cosm Hollywood Park venue will develop and execute strategies that drive revenue growth and business development across Cosm venues. This individual will leverage an entrepreneurial mindset alongside strong commercial instincts to build Cosm brand equity, create awareness, and convert prospects into long-term partners and clients. Responsible for leading B2B sales efforts, this individual will identify and cultivate relationships with corporate clients, strategic partners, and key industry stakeholders to drive group sales, private events, memberships and venue partnerships. The ideal candidate is a resourceful and results-driven deal maker with a proven ability to close complex, high-value agreements and a consultative, partnership-oriented approach to selling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management or a related field required.
  • 5-7+ years in a relevant sales role, preferably in a high-volume Sales environment.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding individual membership sales targets and retention goals.
  • Experience managing and growing a membership portfolio, including renewals, upsells, and member engagement.
  • Ability to manage a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders; thoughtfully developing and delivering sound recommendations to senior management.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced start-up environment; balancing creativity and innovation with practical solutions.
  • Ability to work both traditional and non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays) as required.
  • All applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across all Cosm markets to drive revenue through ticket sales, individual and corporate memberships and private events.
  • Prospect, cultivate, and close new business sales to meet and exceed individual revenue targets, including but not limited to ticket sales, memberships and private events.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective B2B clients through outreach, networking, referrals, and community engagement.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Cosm's membership offerings and effectively communicate their value to potential members, as well as to the venue sales teams.
  • Partner with venue leadership to train and equip local sales teams with best practices, sales tools, and product knowledge to drive consistent performance across markets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align on lead generation campaigns and promotional initiatives that support revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through local partnerships, corporate outreach, and community events.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for Cosm, representing the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm at all times.
  • Analyze sales performance, client feedback, and competitive benchmarks to refine sales tactics and offerings.
  • Participate in ongoing departmental financial analysis, planning and budgeting.
  • Collaborate on targeted campaigns, digital and experiential promotions, and brand messaging that resonate with key audiences.
  • Work closely with ticketing system personnel and Product team to continue to develop the Cosm Membership functionality.
  • Provide regular reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and market feedback
  • Build and nurture strategic partnerships with high-profile clients and industry stakeholders, including Fortune 500 companies in each of Cosm’s local markets.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for current members, ensuring a high-touch, best-in-class membership experience that drives retention and renewal
  • Proactively engage with existing members to understand their needs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to upsell or upgrade membership tiers
  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve member issues and ensure seamless fulfillment of membership benefits
  • Track membership renewal timelines and execute proactive outreach strategies to minimize churn and maximize retention rates
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date member records, ensuring all benefits, communications, and account details are current
  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM data to inform strategy and planning.
