Vortexa is a leading real-time energy and freight intelligence platform that uses AI, satellite data, and proprietary vessel tracking to provide sophisticated trading and shipping teams with a clearer view of global flows. As a venture-backed scale-up with a growing international presence, Vortexa is hiring a Sales Director to manage a defined territory in the Americas, focusing on acquiring new clients. This role is primarily a 'hunter' position, with approximately 80% of the time dedicated to originating and closing new business and 20% focused on managing a small portfolio of existing accounts. A key aspect of this role is selling Vortexa’s API and MCP-based solutions, particularly to technical and front-office buyers, while also confidently selling the core SaaS platform. The Sales Director will operate within a coordinated commercial pod, receiving support from a dedicated BDR for outbound efforts, partnering with the AMER Marketing team for ABM plays and events, collaborating with Solutions Architects for technical discovery and demos, and working with Customer Success for renewals and expansion within their named accounts.
