The Role: You're the first conversation a CEO or CMO of an 8 or 9-figure company has with Shown Media. That conversation sets the tone for everything. You're not reading from a script — you're consulting on distribution strategy with people who run serious businesses, and you are the one holding the room.

Requirements

  • Extremely well-spoken — not polished, sharp
  • You can challenge a CMO of a $500M company without flinching
  • High IQ — you research a prospect in 20 minutes and sound like you've followed them for years
  • You think about sales the way engineers think about systems
  • Losing a deal bothers you more than closing one excites you
  • Not excited for Fridays
  • Based in NYC
  • You've held a real conversation with a senior executive and made them lean in
  • You don't freeze when someone is dismissive — you recalibrate and push
  • You understand Shown Media's value prop well enough to defend it from any angle
  • You're relentless without being annoying — you know the difference

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and set meetings with CEOs and CMOs of 8 and 9-figure companies
  • Work inbound and outbound leads with equal intensity — no lead goes cold, no follow-up gets missed
  • Challenge objections head-on — you're not there to agree, you're there to educate
  • Keep the pipeline moving at all times and feed intelligence back to the team
  • Represent Shown Media as the first touchpoint with our most important future clients
