About The Position

As a Sales Development Representative at Vagaro, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's growth by identifying and qualifying potential clients. Through strategic outreach and effective communication, you will engage with key decision-makers, educate them about Vagaro's solutions, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales representatives. This role is based onsite in Pleasanton, CA Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of sales experience in outbound sales/demand generation position.
  • You have a track record of growing in a self-starting environment, demonstrating your drive, creativity, and intellect.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to understand customer needs.
  • You have awesome customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, sense of humor, and open mind.
  • Resilient. When they hang up or respond negatively, you plow forward with a smile.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to communicate how we differentiate from our competitors.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, SalesForce.com, LiveChat and/or other CRM tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B, beauty industry, or software sales a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Vagaro’s product offering, its position in the marketplace, and be able to compare and contrast Vagaro with competitors.
  • Track all lead activity and monitor opportunities using SalesForce.com
  • Consistently achieve goals/meetings quota that are set on monthly and quarterly basis
  • Collaborate with the SDR team to achieve collective & individual goals
  • Responsible for prospecting within a named account list, including cold calling, email and other sales activity.
  • Manage target account lists and drive meetings for Account Executives
  • Keep up to date with the scheduling software technology industry and competitive landscape
  • Maintain reliability through attending scheduled shifts
  • Other duties as assigned
