About The Position

Mintago is the fastest-growing employee benefits platform in the UK, dedicated to helping businesses and their employees flourish financially. We are seeking an exceptional Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be instrumental in building Mintago's pipeline. This role involves managing inbound leads and proactively generating outbound leads, with a focus on crafting valuable conversations and adding value at every touchpoint. You will be part of a driven SDR team, collaborating closely with the Go-To-Market (GTM) team, with the shared goal of becoming a market leader in financial benefits for SMBs. We prioritize candidates with a minimum of 2 years in a B2B SDR or BDR role, demonstrable outbound experience, and a background in HR, benefits, FinTech, or B2B SaaS is strongly preferred. Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, early-stage environment is also highly valued.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years in a B2B SDR or BDR role with demonstrable outbound experience.
  • Proven hands-on experience with modern sales stacks, specifically Clay (lead enrichment) and HubSpot CRM.
  • Ability to analyze prospect data, interpret buying signals, and adjust outreach strategies based on metrics.
  • Strong capability to segment target markets by industry, company size, persona, and specific pain points to tailor messaging.
  • Proven experience in crafting personalized, engaging cold emails and conducting effective cold calls.
  • Comfortable with BANT or GAP selling frameworks to properly vet leads and protect AE time.
  • Understanding of what makes a good lead and holding oneself to that standard.
  • Ability to set own pace, handle rejection, and stay consistent.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and find unique ways to stand out.
  • Genuine curiosity to research prospects and stay across market trends.
  • Capable of presenting clear decision-making and convincing arguments across all stakeholders.
  • Ability to connect the dots across systems and platforms.
  • Comfortable with creating familiarity and exposure on LinkedIn and posting regularly to provide value.

  • HR, benefits, FinTech or B2B SaaS background strongly preferred.
  • Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced, early-stage environment where you've had to figure things out rather than follow a mature playbook.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain highly targeted prospect lists based on Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), firmographic data, and intent signals.
  • Enrich prospect data (emails, LinkedIn profiles, job changes, etc.) using Clay and normalize it into a clean CRM.
  • Execute personalized, multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls) that feels tailored to each prospect.
  • Manage the inbound lead queue in HubSpot at pace, qualifying Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) through discovery and converting them to Sales Accepted Leads (SALs).
  • Convert cold and warm leads into a rich sales pipeline for Account Executives (AEs), handling objections and qualifying rigorously.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to refine target personas, provide feedback on market trends or campaign effectiveness, and assist with pre-meeting briefings and quality criteria.
