About The Position

The Sales Development Representative (SDR / BDR) role is an outbound-first position focused on the Food & Beverage industry. The primary responsibility is to identify and engage potential clients through cold calling and email outreach, qualify opportunities, and schedule meetings for Account Executives. This role is crucial for driving growth in the F&B vertical by targeting specific types of plants and processors across Quebec and Canada. The company, Uniking Canada, is a family-owned business established in 2002, specializing in metal and plastic chains, belts, and engineered conveying components. Requirements

  • 1–4+ years in sales development, inside sales, telemarketing, or B2B customer-facing roles.
  • CRM experience (Zoho or similar).
  • Fully bilingual (French & English).
  • Hunter mindset: motivated by the chase, comfortable with cold outreach, and resilient to rejection.
  • Clear, confident, and calm communication skills with excellent phone and email etiquette.
  • Resilience and discipline to manage high call volume and stay organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial / distribution or F&B exposure is a plus.
  • Drive and coachability are most important.

Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts, identify decision-makers, and build prospecting lists using LinkedIn and CRM.
  • Conduct high-volume cold calls and send cold emails daily to food and beverage plants.
  • Qualify prospects through discovery to ensure quality opportunities.
  • Schedule qualified prospects for Full Intro meetings and On-site Technical sales visits with Account Executives.
  • Log all activities and opportunities accurately in the CRM.
  • Share market intelligence from the field with sales and leadership teams.
