About The Position

MarketStar is seeking a Sales Development Representative for ExxonMobil. In this role, you will engage with marketing-provided leads and self-prospected leads, moving them forward in the sales process by gathering crucial information and providing qualified leads to internal sales teams. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in building the brand, creating a great first impression, and building momentum for Inside Sales Reps and the client brand. Requirements

  • Previous Lead/Sales Development or sales experience
  • Experience prospecting your own leads based on provided parameters preferred
  • Prior experience working in automotive and/or industrial sectors preferred
  • Strong sales aptitude skills, solutions oriented with a passion for the customer and the customer experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High confidence and ability to quickly build trust within the first call, with strong soft skills to drive impact on the spot
  • Salesforce, SalesLoft, Outreach.IO or other sales tools experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Proactively reach out to potential leads through a variety of channels including phone calls, emails and prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Qualify leads by gathering critical information related to their industrial and commercial lubricant needs
  • Work with sales team members to ensure a seamless transition from lead development to sales
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Achieve established sales goals and objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow-ups in our CRM
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of our products and which industries they relate to while being able to effectively communicate to uncover customer use cases
  • Track and analyze metrics to measure success and improve performance
