About The Position

As A Advanced Septic & Construction continues to grow, we are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven Septic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our team. This is a field-based, high-impact role for a self-starter with a “go-getter” mindset. You will be the first point of contact for new opportunities, responsible for identifying prospects, evaluating septic system needs, and turning leads into contracted work. If you thrive on building relationships, closing deals, and driving revenue, this role offers the perfect balance of technical insight and sales autonomy within our service territory.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience with a valid license (permit time does not qualify towards time)
  • Acceptable MVR requirements
  • 3 years experience must have a clean driving record
  • 5+ years experience must have an acceptable driving record
  • 2+ years of B2B sales development or field prospecting experience
  • Strong ambition, discipline, and competitiveness
  • Must be comfortable working in crawl spaces and outdoor conditions
  • Ability to perform heavy labor (i.e., digging, crawling, lifting 75+lbs., etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Data-driven and comfortable working with CRM systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience in sales; septic, plumbing, or residential service experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of septic system components and service requirements
  • Experience working with mobile home parks or property managers
  • Confined Space Entry Certification or relevant training
  • HOA or property management experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Field prospecting face to face daily
  • Proactively seek out and acquire new business
  • Conduct in-person (door-to-door) visits to potential clients
  • Canvasing neighborhoods with direct marketing materials
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
  • Present service agreements, maintenance programs, and project proposals clients
  • Achieve sales goals through prospecting, networking, and relationship development
  • Conduct outbound calls to set face-to-face appointments
  • Deliver professional sales presentations to close new business
  • Maintain accurate CRM reporting via ServiceTitan
  • Complete Site Walks and update ServiceTitan
  • Participate in ongoing sales training, team meetings, and events
  • Other duties as assigned
