About The Position

An early-stage biotechnology company specializing in personal stem cell banking services for adults and newborns is looking for a Sales Development Representative to own cold outreach and qualified meeting generation end-to-end across a national physician partner network. The company operates at a critical growth inflection point: account executives are fully allocated to closing, and pipeline generation has no dedicated headcount. The team is lean, mission-driven, and building toward a fully AI-powered outbound engine for the first time. This is a ground-floor opportunity on a high-urgency hire with a clear path to broader sales and strategic responsibilities for top performers.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of outbound SDR or BDR experience with demonstrated cold prospecting ownership (lead list building, account research, multi-channel outreach — not inbound-only)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-driven prospecting or enrichment tools (Clay, ChatGPT, Apollo, Instantly, ZoomInfo, or equivalent) with evidence of use in actual campaigns, not skills-section listing only
  • Proven meeting generation track record: consistent quota attainment at 10+ booked meetings/week or 40+/month equivalent documented on CV
  • Multi-channel outreach execution across at least 3 of the following: cold calls, email sequencing, SMS campaigns, LinkedIn prospecting
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent) with activity logging and pipeline tracking
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • English at C1+ CEFR level (cold-call fluency required for direct physician office outreach across the US)

Nice To Haves

  • Prior B2B SDR or outreach experience in healthcare, medtech, biotech, or direct-to-physician sales
  • Experience building automated drip campaigns or multi-step outreach sequences using sales automation platforms (Instantly, Outreach.io, SalesLoft, or equivalent)
  • Evidence of independent prospecting strategy development: building targeting criteria from scratch for a new territory, specialty, or geographic segment
  • 18+ months tenure in at least one previous SDR role

Responsibilities

  • Independently sources qualified leads (physicians, medical networks, sports medicine practices)
  • Executes multi-channel outreach campaigns across calls, email, SMS, and LinkedIn
  • Books a minimum of 10 new qualified meetings per week for account executives
  • Success at 90 days means 50+ meetings per month, measurable pipeline contribution to AE revenue, and at least one proactive process optimization pitched and implemented without direction.
