About The Position

Hudl is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to drive revenue growth by qualifying leads, cultivating customer relationships, and expanding Hudl's market presence in a specific region. This role involves generating leads through cold calling, emailing, and product demonstrations via Zoom, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborating closely with Account Executives on deal strategies to maximize revenue and profitability. The SDR will focus on the small college market, including NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, Canadian colleges, and junior colleges across North America. This position requires three days per week at the Hudl headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska, and candidates must either live within commuting distance or be willing to relocate.

Requirements

  • A university degree.
  • No prior experience required as this is an entry-level role.
  • Sales skills including negotiation, prospecting, objection handling, and closing deals.
  • High level of motivation, self-expectation, and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage territory and daily prospect outreach.
  • Comfort working in a remote environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce, Slack, and Google Drive.
  • Understanding of how to leverage tech tools effectively.
  • SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) sales experience.
  • Knowledge of sports (athlete, coach, or administrator in club or high school sports).

Responsibilities

  • Generate momentum and revenue through cold calling, emailing, and product demonstrations over Zoom.
  • Qualify leads and connect potential customers with the right Hudl solutions.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executives to strategize on deal negotiations, maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Focus on the small college market (NCAA Division II, III, NAIA, Canadian colleges, junior colleges in North America across all sports).
