About The Position

Postmedia is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for a 15-month contract. This is a full-time, remote position based in Toronto, ON. Postmedia is a Canadian news media company with over 110 brands, transforming its trust into an advanced digital sales engine. The SDR will be responsible for creating qualified opportunities for Account Executives by initiating conversations, opening doors, and generating leads using AI-powered tools and data. This role is not a call-center position and offers a clear path for career growth.

Responsibilities

Review prioritized accounts and leads surfaced by AI and marketing to identify targets for outreach.
Conduct personalized outreach via phone, video, email, and LinkedIn, utilizing first-party audience and market data.
Engage in short, focused business discovery conversations with high-level prospects to uncover marketing needs, qualify fit, and set meetings for Account Executives.
Utilize AI-generated summaries and next steps for efficient follow-ups.
Review AI-driven insights from calls to improve messaging, understand objection patterns, and optimize talk ratios.
Collaborate with the team to identify and target new prospects based on data and performance, expanding into new prospect pools.
