About The Position

This is a foundational, "first sales hire" opportunity tailored for someone who wants to help build a U.S. business from the ground up. Reporting directly to the U.S. Head of Sales, you will be an integral part of the company's growth, helping to establish the U.S. sales motion and achieve ambitious targets for 2026 and beyond. Instead of simply hitting basic activity metrics within a highly structured corporate environment, you will have the unique opportunity to craft strategies, build critical processes, and navigate ambiguity. With direct mentorship from sales leadership, this role offers a clear and exciting career path to transition from sales development to an Account Executive, and eventually into future leadership roles as the U.S. team expands. The company is a highly successful, approximately 10-year-old international software scale-up on a mission to make the fuel retail sector the most insight-driven industry in the world. Their pioneering, industry-changing technology provides independent gas station and convenience store operators with the confidence to ditch manual spreadsheets and run their businesses using accurate, real-time data accessible from anywhere. Having launched in 2017, they quickly took the UK market by storm, signing multiple major oil companies and over half of the top 50 independent retailers. Now, backed by lessons learned and with a robust implementation infrastructure fully established across the United States, they are launching a major strategic initiative to replicate that success and embark on ambitious U.S. expansion plans.
