About The Position

This role is for a Sales Development Representative at Biller Genie, a B2B SaaS platform focused on helping small businesses get paid faster. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position focuses exclusively on inbound, partner-referred leads, meaning business owners who have already expressed interest. The core of the role involves engaging with these leads, guiding them through account setup, and qualifying opportunities for the Account Executive team. A portion of the role (approximately 25%) involves managing a dedicated set of SMB accounts through the full sales cycle, from discovery to closing. Requirements

  • Driven and hungry — you want to win and you're willing to put in the work to figure out how.
  • Coachable. You take feedback well and actually do something with it.
  • Comfortable in a metrics-driven environment — you like knowing exactly where you stand.
  • Tech-savvy with an interest in SaaS or Fintech. You don't need a background in it, but you need to be curious about it.
  • A confident communicator — articulate, professional, and able to hold a real conversation.
  • 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required. We care more about trajectory than resume.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Work a high volume of warm, inbound partner-referred leads.
  • Guide customers through first-time account setup via phone, email, and Zoom.
  • Qualify opportunities and hand them off to the AE team with clean context and clear next steps.
  • Manage your own schedule and call queue.
  • Own a dedicated set of SMB accounts where you run the full cycle yourself — discovery, demo, close.
  • Learn to ask deep discovery questions, demonstrate features, handle objections, and build trust.
  • Raise the floor for the team around you.
