About The Position

K3 is a Managed Services Provider (MSP) that operates as a business advisory firm executing technology. They help SMB owners and executives run safer, more efficient companies by providing managed IT, security, and AI implementation tied to business outcomes. This role is for K3's first dedicated Sales Development Representative, offering significant ownership and the opportunity to build the outbound engine from the ground up. The representative will develop calling lists, run outreach, refine processes, and book discovery calls with qualified prospects. The role reports to the COO but requires self-management of pipeline, process, and daily schedule. It is ideal for individuals who thrive on building their own structure and achieving targets with minimal oversight.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of SDR or outbound sales experience, ideally selling managed services, IT, or professional services to business owners or executives.
  • A documented history of consistently booking 4-5+ qualified meetings per month.
  • Extremely self-sufficient, with a history of succeeding with minimal oversight and the ability to describe systems built to achieve this.
  • Comfortable building lists and processes from scratch.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can hold a conversation with a CEO or managing partner without relying on jargon.
  • Located in the Dallas Fort Worth area.
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Zoho CRM, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain prospect lists targeting SMB owners and executives (20-200 employees) in AEC, CPA, legal, creative agency, and manufacturing firms across the Dallas Fort Worth area.
  • Run outbound outreach across cold calls, email, and LinkedIn, and iterate on your process based on data.
  • Book qualified discovery calls for the leadership team, ensuring prospects fit the ideal customer profile (ICP) and attend the meetings.
  • Keep the CRM clean and current.
  • Report on what's working, what isn't, and what changes are being made.
  • Recommend better tools or processes when ROI is evident.
