About The Position

The Budd Group is seeking a competitive, self-motivated Sales Representative (B2B) to join their team in Charlotte, NC. This role is focused on driving new customer acquisition and expanding business with existing clients. The Sales Representative will be the primary contact for local businesses, connecting them with The Budd Group's janitorial, maintenance, and specialty services. Requirements

  • Previous experience in route sales, outbound call centers, inside sales, or B2B sales is preferred.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection.
  • Relentlessly goal-oriented.
  • Excellent phone presence and sharp written communication skills.
  • Ability to confidently deliver presentations in person or digitally.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritize a busy day, work independently, and stay organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRMs or sales tech (like Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or Pardot) is a major plus.
  • Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead new customer acquisition and expand the company's footprint with existing clients throughout the territory.
  • Research target markets, identify key decision-makers, and qualify leads from various sources.
  • Initiate outbound cold calls and leverage digital outreach to secure in-person sales appointments.
  • Collaborate with AVPs and Business Development Managers to drive leads through the pipeline and close service contracts.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and add value to the current customer base.
  • Represent The Budd Group at regional trade shows, networking organizations, and community events.
  • Maintain accurate data within the CRM to track personal metrics and pipeline health.
