About The Position

We're hiring our first SDRs at Acclaim. This team will open doors at some of the largest financial institutions in the country. This is an enterprise motion, which means longer cycles, multiple stakeholders, and conversations that require genuine business acumen. You won't succeed here by blasting sequences. You'll succeed by doing your homework, getting the right people on the phone, and earning a conversation. Your primary focus is outbound: targeted prospecting into collections, operations, and technology leadership at large banks and credit unions. You'll also engage inbound pipeline from events, partnerships, and demand gen — qualifying fast and passing opportunities with full context, not just a calendar invite. You'll be booking meetings for the Head of Sales and Field AEs. When the meeting lands, you own the handoff. You are not done at the calendar invite.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of outbound SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience — preferably with some exposure to enterprise or financial services accounts
  • Comfortable prospecting into complex organizations with multiple decision-makers; you know how to navigate without burning the account
  • Strong verbal and written communication — you can hold a credible conversation with a VP at a bank without a manager in the room
  • Genuinely curious about AI and how large institutions are thinking about automation and operational efficiency
  • Organized and accountable — you know your numbers and you own your results
  • Familiarity with outbound sales tools (sequencers, CRM, dialers); you use them to move faster, not to avoid working
  • Poise and professionalism to match an enterprise buyer — without losing the hunger that makes a great SDR

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted, research-led outbound prospecting into large banks, credit unions, and specialty lenders via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Engage inbound leads from industry events, conferences, and demand gen campaigns with speed and intent
  • Identify and map multiple stakeholders within enterprise accounts — collections leadership, operations, and technology buyers
  • Qualify prospects against our ICP and pass opportunities to senior sellers with full context and clean CRM data
  • Learn and own the Acclaim value proposition; articulate it clearly to sophisticated buyers without leaning on scripts
  • Use sequencing and sales tools to increase reach and stay organized — but lead with your voice and your research
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in CRM
  • Represent Acclaim at industry events and conferences when called upon
  • Partner with the Head of Sales to sharpen messaging, refine target lists, and improve conversion at every funnel stage
