About The Position

Sweep is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) tasked with generating sales opportunities for account executives by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential prospects. The role involves turning Sweep into a high-growth company by onboarding companies ready to create a better future. Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit-ready reports to run the best sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology. The ideal candidate is someone at the start of their sales career, hungry for success and excited by the challenge of opening doors. They should be highly organized, eager to learn, and bring great energy and curiosity to every prospect interaction.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to develop a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with AI tools and an openness to integrating them into daily work
  • You're an empathetic team player who builds strong relationships, both internally and externally
  • A curious and proactive learner, eager to absorb feedback and improve quickly
  • A clear communicator, able to engage prospects in simple and compelling ways
  • A hands-on problem solver, self-motivated with a glass half-full attitude
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable trying new approaches and iterating

Nice To Haves

  • Some exposure to software-as-a-service environments, ideally in a B2B context, is a plus
  • Knowledge of CSR or climate change is a clear plus

Responsibilities

  • Mapping accounts with the right personas under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Managing and maintaining data on prospective clients in the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Supporting prospecting campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Reaching out to prospects using all relevant channels, with a skew towards cold calling.
  • Learning and applying the right messaging to trigger meaningful conversations.
  • Executing multi-threaded outbound campaigns with well-crafted follow-up sequences.
  • Reporting on campaign results and sharing observations to help improve conversion rates.
  • Making sure prospects fit our Ideal Customer Profile.
  • Highlighting Sweep's value proposition to raise interest and generate curiosity.
  • Qualifying business opportunities and booking meetings with Account Executives.
  • Ensuring all communications are logged accurately in the CRM.
