The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for lead generation, conversion, and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective customers and optimizing customer service experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or an applicable combination of education and experience.
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient and effective communication – Verbal and Written
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

  • Contact new and existing accounts and provide support by understanding the customers’ business, anticipating their future needs and becoming their primary supplier.
  • Meet/exceed minimum number of phone calls.
  • Ensure CRM records are up to date and kept current.
  • Participate in all required training.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions/feedback.
  • Provide excellent and ongoing customer service and support.
  • Recognize and identify customer needs and implement suggestive selling.
  • Forecasting to maximize customer assortment.
  • Maintain vast product knowledge to emphasize product features and benefits, negotiate prices, discuss terms and prepare sales agreements and/or reports.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.
