We are now merging that enterprise-level power with our local mission to dominate the Plano market. Are you a top performer in tech retail (Apple, Best Buy, Verizon, AT&T) who is tired of waiting around for foot traffic and ready to build a high-income B2B career? We are looking for a hungry Sales Development Representative (SDR) to hunt down new opportunities and fuel our growth. This is a high-visibility, fast-paced prospecting role. You aren’t fixing screens or working a help desk; you are the growth engine of the company. Your primary mission is to get on the phone, drop into local Plano businesses, break through the noise, and schedule qualified discovery meetings for our consulting team. If you have a fierce "Hunter" mentality, the "Tech Knack," and the resilience to handle rejection, this is your launchpad into enterprise B2B sales.

Requirements

  • The "Hunter" Mentality: You are highly competitive, self-motivated, and driven by hitting daily outbound activity targets. Rejection doesn't slow you down; it fuels your next call.
  • The "Gift of Gab": You have exceptional phone presence and communication skills. You can confidently hold a conversation with a small business owner or a CEO and articulate value quickly.
  • Technical Fluency: You don't need to be a programmer, but you must be deeply comfortable with Windows/Mac environments, basic networking concepts, and cloud tools (Microsoft 365/Google Workspace) so you can speak intelligently to prospects.
  • B2B Ambition: You are ready to escape the consumer retail grind, reclaim your schedule, and break into the professional world of high-stakes Business-to-Business consulting.

Responsibilities

  • Aggressive Outbound Prospecting: You own the front end of the sales pipeline. You will actively hunt for new business opportunities in the Plano area through heavy cold calling, strategic emailing, and local door-knocking.
  • Lead Qualification: You don't just find random leads; you qualify them. You’ll talk to gatekeepers and decision-makers to identify their current IT pain points and see if they match our ideal client profile.
  • Setting the Stage: Your ultimate metric of success is booking high-quality "Nerd Discovery Meetings" and assessments for our Senior Account Executives.
  • Pipeline Management: Use our CRM tools effectively to track your daily outreach activity, follow up diligently with prospects, and manage your pipeline data with precision.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent NerdsToGo and ATI at local DFW networking events, chambers of commerce, and business meetups to build local brand awareness.
