About The Position

At Mechasys, we believe the construction industry deserves tools as precise and innovative as the finished article it creates. That’s why we’ve developed the XR Projector, a state-of-the-art 3D positioning tool that brings blueprints to life, directly on the job site. Using BIM/CAD models, our XR Projector projects blueprints at a 1:1 scale with millimetre accuracy, eliminating guesswork, cutting rework by up to 50%, and helping teams complete projects faster and smarter. As we scale, we’re looking for talented individuals to join our mission and help shape the future of construction technology. As an SDR Intern, you are the frontline of our growth engine. Your mission is to support the Sales Leadership in scaling our outbound engine. You will be responsible for identifying high-value accounts, navigating complex organizational structures, and initiating the conversations that lead to multi-million dollar partnerships.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in B2B/B2C prospecting (e.g., telecom, door-to-door, or retail)
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Engineering.
  • Fully Bilingual (French/English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A genuine interest in Robotics, Construction, or Hardware-as-a-Service (HaaS).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot/Salesforce) and VOIP dialers.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry or robotics
  • Experience using AI tools to speed up your workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Execute targeted outbound campaigns via personalized email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), including BIM Managers, VPs of Operations, and General Contractors.
  • Conduct deep-dive research on key accounts to map organizational hierarchies and identify the "Champion" versus the "Economic Buyer."
  • Utilize a 70/30 split between aggressive outbound hunting and strategic inbound lead qualification.
  • Conduct discovery calls to uncover prospect pain points, current workflows, and the current technical situation
  • Master the Mechasys value proposition to handle objections and differentiate our laser-projection tech from traditional manual methods.
  • Strictly follow the Sales Playbook to schedule high-value product demonstrations for our Field Sales team.
  • Maintain data integrity within our CRM, ensuring every touchpoint is meticulously recorded.
  • Learn and apply the MEDDIC sales framework to qualify opportunities and forecast pipeline health.
  • Assist in optimizing our sales stack by leveraging AI-based productivity tools.
