About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated Inside Sales Representative with a proven sales record to support our growth in the vitamin and supplement category. This role is focused on outstanding B2B sales to brick-and-mortar retailers, including independent natural health food stores. This is a phone-based sales role responsible for opening new accounts, reactivating inactive retailers, and driving reorders through strong relationship-building and product education. At its core, this role is about turning relationships into growth — opening new doors, nurturing long-term partnerships, and helping our natural retail partners thrive right alongside our brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (BA or BS) or equivalent experience
  • 1-3+ years of inside sales, outbound sales, or BRB sales experience
  • Experience with supplements, natural CPG, or wellness brands, and a genuine passion for health and nutrition
  • Deep understanding of the natural and health food retail channel, including independent retailers, co-ops, and natural chains
  • Comfortable making high-volume outbound calls
  • Strong phone presence and communication skills
  • Ability to explain products clearly and confidently
  • Organized, disciplined, and follow-up driven
  • Experience using CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Proactively outbound call prospective and inactive retail accounts
  • Identify and engage store buyers, managers, and owners
  • Educate retailers on product benefits, differentiation, and assortment strategy (using compliant claims)
  • Open new wholesale accounts and secure opening orders
  • Drive reorders, SKU expansion, and promotional participation
  • Maintain accurate activity, notes and pipeline in CRM
  • Follow a structured call cadence and sales process
  • Collaborate with field sales, marketing, and customer service teams
  • Stay current on product knowledge, compliance guidelines, and competitive landscape
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding new account and revenue targets
  • High follow-through and account responsiveness
  • Strong reorder rates across assigned accounts
  • Growing average order value and SKUs per store
  • Stay informed about trends and innovations in the natural products space, including retail trends, consumer preferences, product categories, and competitive landscape
