About The Position

Aspen Fiber Networks is pleased to announce an internship opportunity for an ambitious and proactive individual to join our team as a Sales Development Intern. This part-time role is ideal for students or recent graduates who are eager to gain practical experience in sales and business development within the fast-paced technology sector. As a Sales Development Intern, you will support the sales team in driving lead generation, conducting market research, and identifying potential clients. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to various sales strategies and techniques, as well as the opportunity to contribute to the overall growth of the company.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Strong interest in sales and business development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Availability for 16 to 30 hours per week.

Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in generating leads through outreach efforts, including cold calls, emails, and social media engagement.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand industry trends.
Support the sales team in preparing presentations and sales materials.
Manage and update the CRM system with leads, contacts, and sales activities.
Assist in organizing sales events and promotional activities.
Participate in team meetings and provide insights and suggestions for improvement.
Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate value to prospects.
