About The Position

The main objective of this project is to provide a comprehensive learning experience for interns in sales and business development. The project aims to equip interns with practical skills and knowledge in various aspects of sales, from lead generation to customer relationship management. By the end of the project, interns should have a solid understanding of the sales process, improved communication and presentation skills, and practical experience in vetting potential opportunities in CCM’s customer relationship management system and opportunity reporting. They should also have a better understanding of the market and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Industrial Distribution, Business/Marketing, or related field
  • Comfortable with technology such as MS Office 365

Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Identify potential opportunities through market research and networking.
  • Opportunity Outreach: Reach out to potential opportunities via cold calling, emailing, or social media messaging.
  • Sales Presentations: Assist in creating sales presentations for potential opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Update and manage opportunity information in the company’s CRM.
  • Sales Reporting: Help track sales goals, leads, and sales data to generate reports and analyze performance.
  • Market Research: Research industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
  • Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team as needed, which may include maintaining opportunity records, specification support, or following up with customers.
  • Training: Participate in all sales training and meetings, learning from experienced team members and developing sales skills
