About The Position

Innomotics is seeking an early career Sales Development Application Engineer for a developmental role. This position focuses on learning the market, applications, and the process of quoting and selling medium voltage motors, medium voltage variable frequency drive (VFD) technologies, and services. The target audience for sales includes End Users, OEMs, EPCs, and distributors. Upon successful completion of the learning phase, the candidate will transition into a Regional Account Manager role with responsibility for an assigned customer base. The role reports to the Regional Sales Director and requires the candidate to be based in Georgia, Florida, or Alabama.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 2 + years’ experience working in a sales role
  • Experience in the use of CRM tools to supervise selling activities
  • 30% Travel

Nice To Haves

  • Basic working knowledge of integrated drive solutions (motor, drive, system solution, etc.)
  • Basic experience selling to large OEM’s and End Users
  • Basic understanding of the industrial vertical markets in pumps and compression.

Responsibilities

  • Studying and learning about the MV Motor and Drives market.
  • Learning about the product portfolio, primarily focused on medium voltage motors, medium voltage electrical drives (VFD’s), and services.
  • Understanding solutions as incorporated into integrated drive systems.
