About The Position

As a Sales & Design Specialist at Herman Miller, you represent the brand and help clients create spaces that support wellness and productivity. You combine design sensibility with consultative selling, guiding clients through personalized consultations and serving as a trusted design advisor. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you contribute to the store’s success by building client relationships, supporting the Architecture & Design community, and maintaining a premium in-store experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in retail sales, interior design, or client-facing design consultation.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design/rendering tools.
Ability to lift or move items over 40 pounds and adhere to safety protocols.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Inspire and educate clients through in-store demonstrations and personalized consultations.
Design tailored solutions that align with clients’ needs, preferences, and wellness goals.
Drive sales by building strong client relationships and proactively following up on leads.
Collaborate with the Architecture & Design community to grow brand awareness and partnerships.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure a premium store experience.
Process transactions and manage orders accurately and efficiently.
