About The Position

Closet Factory, Indianapolis is looking for experienced salespeople with an interest in home organization. Closet Factory is the custom storage solution authority serving consumer home organizational needs. They design, locally manufacture, sell and install custom closets, home offices, garage cabinetry and flooring, home theaters, pantries, bookshelves, laundry rooms, wine rooms, wall beds and more. They are looking for Sales/Design Associates who are dedicated, creative, and committed to excellence and professional success. The sales territory consists of Indianapolis and all surrounding counties. With a comprehensive and proven training program, those committed to the process will achieve substantial financial success and independence. This is a commission-only based position with an unlimited income potential. The company provides qualified leads, marketing materials, sample materials, and professional mentorship. There is no cold calling involved. Candidates will work from home and set their own flexible schedule, coming into the office only once a month for sales meetings or one-on-one's with their manager. The company is a family-owned business that manufactures locally in Indianapolis.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Detail-oriented with concentration in design & space planning
  • Ability to work both independently and in teams
  • Ability to develop and enjoy long-term relationships with clients

  • Effective in networking to develop independent leads

  • Live within the Indianapolis and surrounding counties territory
  • Ability to commute to the home office 1-4 times per month

Nice To Haves

  • In-home sales experience strongly preferred
  • Previous work experience in sales not needed

Responsibilities

  • Design custom storage solutions for clients' homes, including closets, home offices, garage cabinetry, home theaters, pantries, bookshelves, laundry rooms, wine rooms, and wall beds.
  • Sell custom storage solutions to consumers.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Solicit referrals from existing clients.
  • Network to develop independent leads.
  • Develop a personal portfolio of clients.
  • Meet with potential customers in their homes to create designs and provide pricing.
  • Demonstrate passion and personality, showcase sales skills, and close deals.
