About The Position

The Sales Counselor is a motivated sales and marketing professional with a proven record of success. The position is personally involved in selling the community and assists the Vice President of Marketing in identifying, qualifying, and producing quality leads to support the department’s sales and occupancy goals. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, problem-solving skills, and a results-driven approach, along with a passion for the well-being of seniors. The starting salary range is $59,673 to $79,812, with the salary determined based on relevant prior experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
Two years of related experience and/or training.
Strong track record of sales success.
Excellent phone communication skills.
Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of CCRC marketing and sales promotion techniques.

Responsibilities

Meet individual and team performance projections and sales goals.
Work with prospective and existing clients to assess their needs, interest, and qualifications for admission.
Conduct community tours for individuals and groups and promote WCBR to prospective residents.
Guide applicants through the sales process to commitment and help them begin the formal admission process.
Manage the organization’s lead management software and follow up on new leads and referrals by phone or in writing.
Maintain a daily record of calls, appointments, and other activities.
Participate in marketing events, community outreach functions, special events, group presentations, and referral development programs sponsored by WCBR.
