About The Position

This position sells pre-need and at-need funeral services and inventory as well as cemetery services, property and merchandise. The Sales Counselor assists families with funeral selections and attends services. Leads are generated through a combination of walk-ins, inbound calls and proactive lead generation and prospecting. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required
Strong attention to detail with problem solving skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information

Nice To Haves

Some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales
1 year of sales experience preferred
Experience working in a CRM (lead management system preferred)
Strong ties to Hispanic, Latino, and Islamic communities
Cultural awareness
Language skills
