About The Position

Chandler Hall, a non-profit, Quaker community, provides high-quality care for older adults in Newtown, Bucks County and offers a wide spectrum of services for individuals at all stages of the aging process including Community Living, Personal Care, Home Hospice, Independent Living, Respite Care, and Skilled Nursing Care. We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Sales Counselor to engage with prospective residents and family members in the decision-making process from inquiry to move-in. The Sales Counselor will assess and assist with the needs of potential residents and their families who are exploring senior living options at Chandler Hall.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree; preferably in marketing or healthcare related field.
  • Minimum Two (2) years of sales and marketing experience; senior living experience or related field preferred
  • Excellent communications skills and hospitality minded work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency with computers, computer applications to include Word, Excel, Microsoft Office and database/CRM software, presentations

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and/or improving the occupancy level and revenue production of the community in accordance with the marketing and business plans to include completing sales calls and closing sales.
  • Achieving individual sales goals and targets (call-outs, appointments, sales, closings, etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with and generate leads through residents, family, and professional referral sources.
  • Ensuring that each prospect receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every prospect, maintaining solid product knowledge, and all other aspects of customer service.
  • Working with other sales team members and management to plan, coordinate, and implement monthly prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
  • Collaborating with other sales team members to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve community occupancy goals.
  • Maintaining prospect interest and commitments through continuous follow-up.
  • Following organizational procedures in lead tracking and maintain current records of all leads and prospects.
  • Demonstrating an expertise and knowledge of current best practices in successful retirement housing sales and marketing techniques.
  • Represents in professional manner the organization at public and community functions and foster a positive image of the community.
