About The Position

Lutheran Life Villages is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven individual for our Sales Counselor position at the LLV South Anthony Blvd Residential Living campus. This person will help prospective residents and their families explore the benefits of our vibrant senior living communities. This full-time position is ideal for a sales professional who enjoys building connections, guiding important decisions, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults.

Requirements

  • High school diploma and some vocational or college course work in business, marketing or a related field required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience (a bachelor’s degree in marketing, social sciences, business, or a related field may be substituted for two (2) years’ experience).
  • Previous sales experience strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a lifestyle focused retirement community preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Actively generate and follow up on leads through various channels, including in-person tours, phone calls, email outreach, marketing campaigns, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Educate and inform prospects on our unique community as a protective umbrella of living for seniors; focusing more on lifestyle rather than product; understand traditional and advanced deposit structure and benefits.
  • Receive calls and inquiries from prospective members, their families, and their advisors; provide information, answer questions, overcome objections and close sales.
  • Interview and review records of prospective members for approval; paperwork includes applications, contracts, financial reports, lead tracking, and sales reports.
  • Review levels of care needed by prospective members with both the prospect and Residential Living Community team to determine the best fit within LLV.
  • Prepare and review sales, leads, and activity reports.
  • Collaborate with the Residential Living Community team and track RSVPS, make reminder phone calls, and attend Residential and Assisted Living Community informational, sales, and lifestyle events.
  • Responsible for meeting sales goals, expenses, and established sales budget.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with prospective members, referral sources, and others.
  • Partner with outside consultants for any programs and training required.
  • Maintain accurate lead tracking, sales activity reports, occupancy forecasts, and other performance metrics.
  • Learn LLV services to offer the full continuum of care & cross train to cover teammates while out on leave/PTO.
  • Coordinate with all LLV campuses to provide service solutions for prospects.
  • Display behavior that supports LLV’s mission, vision, values, and policies; consistently perform position responsibilities in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Protect confidential information of clients, team members, residents, and vendors.
  • Perform various related essential duties as required by the VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
