About The Position
We are hiring a Sales Coordinator to support sales operations, manage event details, and ensure successful execution of group business. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and assisting the Sales and Catering department in managing and maintaining corporate, group and catering business. This position is designed to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and support to external clients and internal partners. This position serves as liaison between the Sales and Catering team members, the Event Management team, and other departments at the hotel.
Requirements
- Those with hospitality or sales support experience will be greatly considered.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency with digital sales systems (StayPMS, ProfitSword, Infor Reserve) or willingness to learn.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and professional approach.
Responsibilities
- Respond to sales inquiries and provide professional, timely communication to clients and internal teams
- Support sales and catering operations, including managing room blocks, reports, billing details, and event documentation
- Coordinate and communicate event details throughout pre-event, event, and post-event phases
- Track key deadlines, client requirements, and event milestones to ensure successful execution
- Utilize sales systems and tools to support booking processes and achieve team goals
- Participate in meetings, training, and reporting to support departmental objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and seamless events
- Assist in achieving sales activity and revenue goals through client interaction and support efforts
- Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and compliance with company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
