About The Position

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing support for Sales Department Managers. This role involves frequent interaction with all hotel departments. The primary responsibility is to aid in securing bookings for the resort by managing various administrative and support tasks.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
Proven track record with Microsoft Office Suite.
At least 2 years of customer service experience.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality experience preferred.
Previous experience in Sales, Marketing or Public Relations preferred.
OnQ experience a plus.
Delphi experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Answer phones, take accurate messages, and be pleasant.
Prepare contracts and addendums with accurate information and without typos.
Create detailed proposals in Word or PowerPoint.
Assist in checking on-line booking engines and assigning leads to managers.
Respond to inquiries through on-line booking sources.
Fill out forms for amenities, type up cards for amenities, and choose amenities for guests to be mailed out.
Assist with travel information and expense reports for managers, including preparing for trips and gathering information.
Prepare detailed expense reports for Director Approval.
Share in Lead (RFP) Assignments following sales guidelines and deployment models.
Perform Delphi input and maintenance, including entering full bookings, meeting space, notes for managers, adjusting names and addresses, and looking up group information for other departments.
Check email throughout the day to respond to client requests for information.
Organize email for easy referencing and to ensure nothing is missed.
