About The Position

The Sales Coordinator plays a critical role in driving revenue and developing guest experiences at the Loden Hotel & Arden Hotel. This position involves fostering client relationships, coordinating events, and implementing strategic sales initiatives. Reporting to the VP, Hotel Operations, the role requires delivering personalized experiences that align with the hotel's luxury standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in hospitality and/or sales.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player with a high level of dedication.
  • A valid driver’s license and abstract is required.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting company and referral leads through research, networking, social media, and special events.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Generating sales presentations and marketing materials to showcase event spaces and amenities.
  • Welcoming prospective clients for site visits and maintaining a visible presence within the hotel.
  • Identifying opportunities to maximize revenue through up-selling and offering enhancements.
  • Corresponding with prospects to answer questions about venue options, rates, room types, packages, and promotions.
  • Coordinating with the sales and marketing team to execute events and conferences.
  • Gathering and assembling sales collateral for distribution to prospects.
  • Building customer loyalty and understanding client needs.
  • Conducting outbound calls and emails to prospects.
  • Actively pursuing hotel sales targets and goals set by Senior Management.
  • Attending hospitality trade shows and community events, which may involve travel.
  • Providing total account management using CRM tools to manage client relationships and group requests.
  • Guiding new prospective clients through the sales cycle to understand preferences and offer personalized services.
  • Following up with current and potential clients regarding group blocks and events, and writing correspondence.
  • Filing correspondence and documents as required.
  • Providing information on group dates, rates, and deadlines.
  • Ensuring all pertinent deadlines are met.
  • Promoting and representing the hotel through involvement in community and professional organizations.
  • Assisting with writing rate proposals and agreements.
  • Answering sales calls, taking messages, and transferring calls efficiently.
  • Reviewing major customer complaints and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and reporting competitive information.
  • Providing assistance and coverage in hotel operations as needed.
  • Following up on all business leads within a 24-hour timeline.
  • Quoting and providing booking confirmations based on forecasts.
  • Developing, implementing, and executing quarterly and annual action plans to drive sales activity.
  • Attending all hotel-wide and sponsored events to elevate the brand and participate in Loden Culture.
  • Engaging with guests to ensure acknowledgement and a warm welcome.
  • Representing the Loden brand respectfully at all times.
