About The Position

NantHealth is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Coordinator to support billing operations, customer retention efforts, and sales initiatives. This role will serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding billing matters, account renewals, cancellations, and retention outreach while also assisting the sales team with lead follow-up, product support, and revenue-generating activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, comfortable communicating with customers, and capable of balancing administrative responsibilities with customer-facing sales support. This role requires availability between 9am - 5pm Eastern.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination, billing, or a related role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling customer conversations related to billing, cancellations, and retention.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and opportunities.

  • Experience with CRM systems, billing platforms, or subscription-based software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor all customer billing activities, including invoicing, payment processing, account updates, and billing issue resolution.
  • Review accounts for outstanding balances, failed payments, and billing discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate account setup, renewals, and subscription management.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and customer account documentation.
  • Assist customers with billing-related questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor account health and identify billing trends or recurring customer issues.
  • Conduct involuntary churn outreach for accounts impacted by failed payments, expired payment methods, or account interruptions.
  • Follow up with customers regarding overdue balances and assist with account recovery efforts.
  • Conduct voluntary churn outreach to customers who cancel services to gather feedback and identify retention opportunities.
  • Document customer feedback, cancellation reasons, and retention outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify trends impacting customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Support customer retention campaigns and renewal initiatives.
  • Assist the sales team with customer communication, follow-ups, scheduling, and account coordination.
  • Support product sales efforts by identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Provide basic product information and guidance to prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain CRM records and ensure accurate customer and sales data.
  • Help coordinate proposals, contracts, and onboarding activities.
  • Support revenue growth through strong customer relationship management and proactive outreach.
