About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Coordinator (CP) to join our Circular Products (CP) Business Unit. The Sales Coordinator (CP) are primarily responsible for the coordination, processing, and communication of order development to customers. They are a part of our Customer Service Team.

Requirements

  • Candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and an Associate’s degree in a business or manufacturing field of discipline, or prior customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience working within a company’s ERP system
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic skills in math, including fractions, decimals, and basic algebraic concepts
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate within a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Preference for knowledge and understanding principles of production planning, inventory control, and shipping
  • Preference for experience in working with independent factory sales representative network

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales order activities, including validation, entry, status requests, and supporting documentation
  • Drive resolution to customer changes, concerns or CAREs and other inquiries
  • Support the sales and customer team to ensure a great customer experience
  • Conversion of quote to order – Effectively mine, read, interpret, and input data information to the company ERP systems from a wide variety of a customer base
  • Communicate customer expectations – Clearly and concisely communicate verbally and written information that is accurate and complete with internal and external customers
  • Respond timely and professionally to our customers by telephone or e-mail to answer inquiries, manage orders, or process change orders
  • Provide effective customer service for all internal and external customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of product, company services as well as team members
  • Participate in the customer complaint process and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making
  • Escalate unresolved customer issues to manager for further investigation and resolution
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
