About The Position

Tom Wood Honda is seeking a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their high-performing team. This role involves guiding customers through the vehicle buying journey, explaining features, offering test drives, presenting financing options, and closing deals. The company emphasizes a no-pressure sales approach and building long-term customer relationships. The position is currently located in Anderson, IN, with a transition to a new facility in Whitestown, Indiana, expected in early 2027. Employees hired now will be part of this transition and growth.

Requirements

Comfortable using CRM tools.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record review, social security verification, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them through the vehicle buying journey.
Explain vehicle features, offer test drives, and help customers find the perfect fit.
Present financing options, trade-in values, and close deals.
Stay informed on vehicle models, trims, and features through ongoing training.
Handle paperwork accurately and ensure deals are clean, compliant, and customer-approved.
Build long-term relationships with customers.
Collaborate with finance, service, and fellow sales team members for a seamless customer experience.
Achieve and exceed sales goals with support and mentorship.
