Requirements
- No automotive experience required -- paid Subaru brand and product training provided from day one
- Proven success in sales, hospitality, retail, or a guest-facing role -- this is the foundation we hire for
- A natural communicator who listens well, earns trust quickly, and follows through without exception
- Self-motivated with a competitive drive and a team-first attitude
- Comfortable with CRM tools, digital communication, and online lead follow-up -- or quick to learn them
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- A genuine hospitality mindset -- you treat every guest interaction like it matters, because it does
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth and curiosity -- making every interaction feel personal, not transactional
- Guide guests through the Subaru lineup with growing confidence and product knowledge -- matching the right vehicle to their lifestyle, values, and needs
- Present and demonstrate vehicles in a way that connects features to what actually matters to each guest
- Build and maintain a guest pipeline through consistent follow-up and disciplined CRM use
- Collaborate with finance and management to deliver a seamless, transparent purchase experience
- Meet monthly targets while maintaining strong guest satisfaction scores
- Stay current on Subaru's full lineup, technology features, and the brand's values story
- Represent Subaru of Santa Monica and Swickard's hospitality standard in every guest interaction
