About The Position

Bloomington Toyota is seeking Bilingual Sales Consultants who can connect with customers in their preferred language (Hmong, Spanish, or Somali). The company will provide three and a half weeks of fully paid, hands-on training. The role focuses on ensuring customers can comfortably understand and complete their car purchase in their native language. No prior dealership or sales experience is required; the ability to communicate in a language other than English is the primary qualification.

Requirements

Conversational fluency in Hmong, Spanish, or Somali, along with English, so you can guide a customer through a purchase in either language
At least 18 years of age
A valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Genuine listening skills - the ability to hear what someone actually needs
Comfort with a phone, a computer, and learning new software (we will train you on our systems)
A friendly, positive attitude and a team-first mindset
Willingness to complete and pass our paid sales training program
Professional demeanor and appearance

Responsibilities

Greet every customer promptly and courteously, and serve bilingual customers in their preferred language
Guide customers through the full sales process, start to finish
Take customers on test drives and walk them through how the vehicle works
Explain financing and protection options clearly, so nothing is a surprise at signing
Track every customer interaction in the Walser CRM
Follow up after the sale - the relationship does not end at the keys
Meet the unit average, PVR, and VSC expectations set by your store

All other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned
