About The Position

Stanton Optical is hiring a Sales Consultant to help patients and customers choose eyewear and navigate the store’s sales process. The role focuses on creating an easy, memorable experience, understanding customers’ budgets and eye care needs, and meeting sales goals. Consultants also handle basic eyewear repairs and lab tasks, track order delivery commitments, and help maintain store and lab standards. Work hours are determined by business needs, and schedule flexibility is required.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of proven success delivering outstanding customer service while exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing business needs in a team environment.
• Effective communication skills with a diverse group of people.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for customer and patient care.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours are determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify their needs, and explain relevant promotional products and services.
• Help patients and customers select eyewear that fits their budgets and eye care needs.
• Troubleshoot prescription-related problems.
• Resolve customer complaints, address dissatisfied patients, and provide solutions.
• Meet established sales goals while following company and local policies and procedures.
• Follow quality-control standards, including OSHA and other safety requirements.
• Perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain brand standards.
• Perform simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite eyeglass delivery.
• Ensure customer orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Maintain brand standards in the lab and notify management about equipment malfunctions, incomplete orders, or incorrect lenses.
• Track delivery commitments, including Now Service and Ready When Promised, to ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and required.
