About The Position

United Defense Tactical is a premium training facility bringing a new category of reality-based self-defense training to Sugar Land. We help people build confidence, situational awareness, and decision-making under pressure through advanced simulation and scenario-based training. Every membership you enroll directly impacts someone’s ability to protect themselves and the people they care about. Programs may include self-defense and firearms-related elements, all delivered in a structured, controlled environment. We are hiring ahead of our opening in Sugar Land. No prior experience in personal safety or firearms is required. This is a performance-driven sales role, not a typical retail or gym job. The role involves two phases: first, enrolling founding members during a limited presale window where urgency drives decisions. After opening, the role shifts to running live demos, converting walk-ins and appointments, and growing membership. The product itself does a lot of the selling, with the consultant guiding the decision. Consultants will be supported with a steady flow of leads, but top performers will distinguish themselves through consistent follow-up and closing ability.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, follow-up, and closing ability
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Sales or customer-facing experience preferred, especially in high-volume environments
  • Strong sales fundamentals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fitness or membership-based sales is a plus
  • Interest in personal safety or training environments is a plus
