About The Position

Hayes Locums is seeking a Healthcare Sales Consultant to connect healthcare facilities with top physician and advanced practice practitioner (APP) talent. This is a relationship-driven, performance-based role that combines consultative sales and recruiting skills, supported by strong internal teams and a proven business model. The company provides comprehensive onboarding, supportive coaching, and ongoing professional development, with a nationally recognized sales training program. The role emphasizes an in-office, in-person environment for learning from experienced senior consultants and achieving significant financial rewards through sustained performance. The position is based in the Fort Lauderdale office with an in-office work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Source and engage physicians through strategic outreach, networking, and research.
  • Build and grow a book of business using a consultative sales approach, utilizing a variety of outreach strategies, with telephone engagement as a primary driver of business growth.
  • Consistently execute high-volume outbound activity, including cold-call outreach, as a core driver of pipeline and long-term success.
  • Conduct thoughtful, consultative conversations to understand physician experience, preferences, and availability.
  • Match physicians with locum tenens opportunities aligned to client needs.
  • Develop and maintain business through prospecting, relationship management, and account planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to manage licensing, credentialing, compliance, and travel logistics.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-touch candidate experience while managing multiple priorities.
  • Apply advanced research techniques beyond traditional job boards.
